Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect the following, depending on how you use the Platform:

• Account information — your name, email address, and role (host or vendor) when you sign up.
• Profile and listing information — venue or vendor details, descriptions, categories, photos, banners, social links, events, and booth or ticket settings you provide.
• Applications and bookings — the applications, acceptances, and confirmations exchanged between hosts and vendors.
• Attendee and ticket information — the name and email provided when someone RSVPs to or buys a ticket for an event.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited transaction details (such as amounts and status) but do not collect or store full card numbers.
• Messages — the content of event chats and direct messages you send through the Platform.
• Usage and device data — basic log and device information generated automatically when you use the Platform.

2. How we use your information

We use information to:

• operate the Platform and provide its features;
• enable hosts, vendors, and attendees to connect, transact, and communicate;
• process payments, payouts, and refunds;
• send transactional emails (such as tickets, confirmations, messages, and announcements);
• maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms; and
• improve and support the Platform.

3. How we share your information

The Platform is a marketplace, so some information is shared to make it work:

• With other users — hosts can see the profile and application details of vendors who apply to their events; vendors can see host and venue details; and the name and email of an attendee are shared with the host of the event they register for so they can be served and checked in. Public profiles and event listings are visible to anyone.
• With service providers — we use trusted providers to run the Platform: Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting). They process information only to provide their services.
• For legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Ichiba, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Platform securely. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your profile information at any time from your dashboard. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at support@ichiba.us.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be communicated through the Platform or by email.
